Press Release - HB 2375 to Promote Transparency and Lower Drug Costs in Virginia

NABIP celebrates the introduction of HB 2375, a groundbreaking bill aimed at creating much-needed transparency for pharmacy services administrative organizations (PSAOs). PSAOs, which serve as middlemen in the pharmacy supply chain, currently operate with little oversight. This legislation represents a significant step forward in reducing prescription drug costs for Virginians. NABIP is especially grateful to Delegate Mark Sickles for sponsoring this important legislation and commends the dedicated efforts of the NABIP Virginia Chapter and NABIP’s Task Force to Lower Prescription Drugs in advancing HB 2375.
